A self-help tool, not medical care
Flamico is designed to help people reduce and quit pornography use and to build healthier daily habits. It offers blocking, locks, an urge flow with breathing exercises, your own motivational video, progress tracking, calming sounds, an optional accountability partner, and Mico, an AI companion.
Flamico is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease, disorder or condition, including addiction, compulsive sexual behavior, depression, anxiety, erectile dysfunction or any other health concern. The App, the Website and our articles are for general information and support only.
Mico is not a therapist
Mico is an artificial intelligence. It can listen, encourage and suggest coping steps, but it does not have medical or psychological training, it can make mistakes, and it cannot understand your situation the way a qualified professional can. Nothing Mico says is professional advice. Mico cannot monitor you, contact anyone on your behalf, or respond to an emergency.
Talk to a professional
If pornography use is causing you distress, harming your relationships, work or health, or feels out of your control, consider speaking with a doctor, psychologist, licensed therapist or counselor, ideally one experienced in compulsive sexual behavior or behavioral addictions. Seek professional help especially if you experience:
- Thoughts of harming yourself or others.
- Persistent low mood, hopelessness, or loss of interest in things you used to enjoy.
- Strong anxiety, panic or sleep problems.
- Use of alcohol or drugs to cope.
- Sexual health concerns, such as pain or erectile difficulties.
Flamico can be a helpful companion alongside professional care, but it is not a replacement for it.
Breathing and calming exercises
The breathing exercises in Flamico are gentle and suitable for most people. If you feel dizzy, light-headed or unwell, stop and breathe normally. If you have a respiratory, heart or other medical condition, ask your doctor whether breathing exercises are right for you.
Our articles
The articles on our blog are written to be practical and accurate, but they are general information and may not apply to your situation. Research on pornography and its effects is still developing, and experts don’t always agree. Always use your own judgment and consult a professional for advice about your health.
Results vary
Everyone’s journey is different. We don’t promise any particular result, streak length or change in mood, energy, relationships or health. Slips can happen, and a slip doesn’t erase the progress you made.
